IFTAAR PROGRAMMES
The Iftar Saa’im Programme (Feed the fasting) is conducted in over 60 areas, spread over 8 Southern African countries
(Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, Swaziland, Namibia, Zambia and Lesotho etc). During the annual Feed-the-Fasting
Programme, IDM has been serving more than 100,000 meals. The recipients are primarily from the disadvantaged communities
of South and Southern Africa. Zakatul Fitr and food parcels are also distributed to thousands of people.
IDM also takes in boarders who stay at several IDM centres during the month of Ramadaan, performing supererogatory deeds
such as Tahajjud Salaah, Zikr and Tilawatul Quran.
