Build Your Palace in Paradise - Help Reconstruct IDM Hombe Masjid
Goal: R216 000 - Help Us Rebuild the Heart of a Growing Muslim Community
In the quiet village of Hombe, Southern Africa, a beautiful transformation is taking place - more hearts are turning to Islam, more souls are seeking guidance, and more families are finding solace in the deen. But with this growth comes an urgent need: a masjid that can nurture, protect, and inspire this blossoming Ummah.
IDM Hombe Masjid is more than just a building - it is a beacon of hope, a sanctuary for worship, and a lifeline for new Muslims, children, and elders. But today, its walls are worn, its roof leaks, and its facilities struggle to accommodate the growing community. We cannot let this light dim.
This Is Your Chance to Build a Home in Paradise
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, even the size of a bird's nest, Allah will build for them a house in Paradise."Ãâà(Sunan Ibn Majah)
Your donation is not just charity - it is an everlasting investment in your Akhirah. Every dollar you give will continue to earn you reward, for as long as the masjid stands and worshippers pray within its walls.
Why Your Help Is Urgent
Right now, brothers and sisters in Hombe are praying on cracked floors, struggling with faulty plumbing, and gathering in spaces too small for the growing community. Women, reverts, and children deserve better. With your support, we can:

You Can Be the Answer to Their Duas
Imagine the reward: Every prayer, every Quran recited, every child learning Islam in this masjid - will be written in your book of deeds, long after you're gone.
Allah promises:
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven spikes, in each spike a hundred grains"Ãâà(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
Don't let this opportunity slip away. Whether you give R50, R750, or R1,500 - your sacrifice today will echo in eternity.
How You Can Help
"The believers are but brothers..." (Quran 49:10) - Our brothers and sisters in Hombe need us. Will you answer the call?

KWAPATA MASJID & ISLAMIC COMMUNITY CENTRE RECONSTRUCTION CAMPAIGN
An IDM Project | Rebuilding the Heart of Faith in Edendale
Total Target: R150,000
A Masjid That Changed Lives â Now It Needs Your Help
More than 35 years ago, in the heart of
Edendale, the KwaPata Masjid & Islamic Community Centre was
established as a simple building â but it became something far greater.
It became a home for new reverts, a school for children learning the
Quran, and a place of peace for a growing Muslim community
surrounded by challenges.
Through IDMâs years of dawah and education,
Islam took root here â and today, KwaPata stands as a symbol of faith, unity,
and hope.
But the Masjid that once brought the community together is now in urgent need
of reconstruction.
The walls are cracked, the roof has weakened,
and the space that once held hundreds for Jumuâah is no longer safe.
To preserve the light of Deen in KwaPata, we must rebuild â together.

Our Vision: Restore, Rebuild, and Revive
The Islamic Dawah Movement (IDM) is leading the effort to reconstruct the KwaPata Masjid & Islamic Community Centre â ensuring that it continues to nurture faith, education, and unity for generations to come.
This is not just a renovation â it is a complete renewal of a space that has shaped lives for over three decades.
Once completed, the Masjid will include:
A Community That Depends on This Masjid
KwaPata, located in the Edendale township of
Pietermaritzburg, is home to a growing Muslim community â many of whom
embraced Islam through IDMâs dawah and social outreach.
For them, this Masjid is more than a building; it is their identity, their
classroom, and their connection to Allah (SWT).
The KwaPata Centre provides:
If this Masjid is not rebuilt, these essential services â and the spiritual heartbeat of the area â may be lost.

Rebuild South Beach Masjid & Islamic Community Centre
A House of Worship. A Home for the Community.
Target: R250,000

A Once Vibrant Masjid, Now in Urgent Need of Reconstruction
For over three decades, the South Beach Masjid & Islamic Community Centre stood as a pillar of faith and togetherness in the heart of Durban's South Beach area. It was a place where sailors stopped to pray, workers found peace after long days, and children's voices echoed as they learned the words of Allah (SWT).
Today, those same walls tell a different story - cracks spread across the ceilings, the roof leaks, and the once-busy prayer hall now struggles to host daily salah.
What was once a thriving centre of worship and learning has become unsafe and nearly unusable.
The time has come to rebuild - not just a structure, but a sanctuary of faith.

A Vision to Restore Hope and Worship
The Islamic Dawah Movement (IDM) has launched an urgent appeal to reconstruct the South Beach Masjid & Islamic Community Centre - to restore it into a safe, beautiful, and welcoming space for prayer, learning, and community service.
This reconstruction will include:
A completely rebuilt main prayer hall
Madrasah classrooms for children
Ablution (wudhu) facilities for men and women
A revamped community area for gatherings and classes
Safe, durable roofing and flooring
When complete, this Masjid will once again echo with the adhan, shelter daily worshippers, and serve as a home for Islamic education and unity.

Why This Project Matters
Durban's South Beach is home to a diverse and growing Muslim population, as well as thousands of visitors who work, live, or pass through the city centre.
The Masjid serves:
Local residents and business workers
Travellers seeking a place to pray
Over 80 madrasah students
Community programs and youth halaqahs
Without reconstruction, this important centre risks closing its doors entirely.
With your support, it can continue to serve hundreds of worshippers and learners every single week.

"This Masjid has been part of our lives for as long as we can remember.
We learnt here, prayed here, and raised our children here.
To see it deteriorate breaks our hearts - but we have hope, because the Ummah always rebuilds."

Amandawe
Masjid Needs You
Help Us Raise R150 000 to Rebuild a House of Allah in Southern Africa
Tucked in the heart of Amandawe, a township on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal - the Amandawe Masjid has long served as the spiritual anchor for a small but devoted Muslim community. For decades, it has provided a sacred space for salah, Islamic education, community upliftment, and da'wah efforts in the area.
But today, this beloved masjid needs you.
Your donation isÃÂ Sadaqah Jariyah - a charity that lives on even after you return to Allah, earning you continuous rewards, InshaAllah.
ÃÂ
A Small Community, A Big Heart
Amandawe is home to a growing number of reverts and born-Muslim families who depend on the masjid as their only nearby Islamic centre. Many residents face socio-economic hardships yet cling to their faith with unshakable devotion. The masjid is not just a place of worship - it is their refuge, their classroom, their reminder of Allah's mercy.
ÃÂ

Revive a Sacred Sanctuary
The masjid's roof leaks in the rain, the carpets are frayed, and facilities are worn. Despite this, the Musallees continue to pray with patience and love. But it shouldn't be this way.
Restore Dignity in Worship
The wudhu areas are outdated and struggle to meet the needs of elderly and disabled members. Every believer deserves to prepare for prayer with ease and cleanliness.
Keep the Lights of Faith Burning
Old electrical wiring is both unsafe and unreliable. Frequent power outages disrupt classes and prayer.
Educate the Future of Islam in Amandawe
Islamic education is the backbone of this community. Children gather for Qur'an lessons; adults come for knowledge and guidance. The masjid classrooms, however, are in urgent need of repair.
ÃÂ
Echoes of the Prophet (PBUH)ÃÂ Legacy
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)ÃÂ said:
"When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: Sadaqah Jariyah
(ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for
them."ÃÂ (Sahih Muslim 1631)
And in another narration:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it
in Paradise."ÃÂ (Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim)
And Allah SWTÃÂ says:
"The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in
Allah and the Last Day"ÃÂ (Surah At-Tawbah 9:18)
