Across Southern Africa, thousands of Muslim youth, women, and reverts face a future of limited choices. Unemployment, poverty, and a lack of skills trap entire communities in cycles of need, dimming the light of hope and potential.
For over 40 years, the Islamic Dawah Movement of Southern Africa (IDM) has worked to uplift communities. Now, we are launching a vital mission to provide the most powerful tool for change: practical education and vocational skills.

This mission is a response to our Islamic duty to empower one another:
"And help one another in righteousness and piety, but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty." (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:2)
"Whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is Most Knowing of what you do." (Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:20)

- R18,000: Purchases a high-quality sewing machine to launch a small business
- R72,000: Fully equips a computer lab with hardware and software for digital literacy
