Sponsor Zulu Quran in Southern Africa
Zulu is an official language in South Africa and is native to six Southern African countries. It is the most widely spoken home language in South Africa, with over 16 million speakers. Zulu is understood by over 50% of the South African population.
ABOUT THE ZULU QURAN
To date, IDM has translated the Quran into nine official languages of Southern Africa, including Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Chichewa, Yao, Portuguese, Uganda, and Setswana. isiZulu stands out as the most widely spoken language in South Africa, comprehended by over 40% of the population. It holds the position of being the second-largest language in Southern Africa and is increasingly becoming the predominant language in the eastern half of the region.
Alhamdulillah, with the generous donations received, IDM has distributed over 160,000 copies of Mus'hafs for free. We are in need of printing more Quranâs to distribute further.
