Islamic Dawah Movement Publications - Quran's translated in multiple South Africa languages
The Need for the Quran in Afrikaans
Afrikaans is spoken by millions across Southern Africa, and there is a growing desire among Afrikaans speakers to connect with the Quran in their own language. Your support in reprinting the Afrikaans Quran will make the divine message accessible, allowing individuals to gain a deeper understanding and connection with Islam.
English: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing."Â (Sahih International)
Expanding Our Vision
In addition to Afrikaans, IDM has translated and distributed the Quran in several other languages, including Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Chichewa, Yao, Portuguese, Runyankore, and Setswana. By reprinting the Quran in Afrikaans, you help us move closer to our broader goal: ensuring that the message of the Quran reaches all communities, regardless of language.
The Impact of Your Support
By contributing to the reprinting and distribution of the Quran in Afrikaans, you will:
Reprint the Quran: Help us replenish our stock and meet the rising demand.
Distribute to Underserved Areas: Physical copies of the Quran will reach remote communities where access to digital resources is limited.
Promote Understanding: Make the Quran accessible in Afrikaans, fostering a deeper connection with Islam.
Testimonial: A Life Transformed
One recipient of the Afrikaans Quran, Annelize Adam from Cape Town, shared her gratitude:Â
"As-salamu alaykum, I am Annelize Adam from Cape Town. I cannot express how grateful I am for receiving the Quran in Afrikaans. For many years, I struggled to fully understand the teachings of Islam because the Quran was not available in a language I could comprehend. When I received the Afrikaans Quran from IDM, it felt like a door had been opened. I now feel more connected to Allah, and it has deepened my understanding and brought me peace. Thank you for this precious gift that has transformed my life."

Our Goal: R100 000

Provide Daily Bread To Young Underpriviledged Learners
Across our IDM Islamic Centres, many students come to learn but often with empty stomachs.
Through this Bread Campaign, we aim to provide daily bread to students, ensuring they are nourished, focused, and able to benefit fully from their Islamic and academic education.
A simple loaf can make a powerful difference.
Why This Matters
1.Many students come from disadvantaged homes.
2.Some rely on the centre as their only consistent meal source.
3.Hunger affects concentration, learning, and well-being.
By feeding a student, you are supporting both their education and their dignity.
